PMC Consulting is owned and operated by Paul Chapman who has twenty four years of financial experience in the Life and Health insurance industry. He has spent a majority of his career within the employee benefits and individual life markets. Prior to forming PMC Consulting, he was Director of Financial Reporting of Hartford Life's Individual Life division.
Paul has served in a variety of senior financial management positions including financial reporting, reinsurance, underwriting, auditing and acquisitions.
He possesses in-depth knowledge of reinsurance including reporting, treaty negotiations, pricing, operations and auditing. Earlier in his career he was in charge of the finance department of The Hartford's Group Reinsurance Plus business unit. This also included managing and reporting underwriting and cash statements for numerous reinsurance pools. He was also involved in claim buyout transactions.
Throughout his career Paul has been involved in numerous audit engagements. He has led audit engagements as well as been the lead contact for audits. Paul has improved operational efficiencies through automation, training and streamlining workflow processes.
Paul graduated from Western New England College with a BS in Accounting.
